"Chivalry 2" is an action game. Players can play the game from a first-person or third-person perspective and can walk or ride a horse.
In the game, players can use a variety of medieval cold weapons, such as warhammers, hammers, swords, battle axes, bows, etc. New weapons can be found in the map's weapon cache

The battle is divided into multiple stages, each with its own objectives. On some maps, once the attacking team successfully captures the castle, the top player on the attacking or defending team (depending on the map) can become a duke and gain various game perks.
Each phase of the battle is timed, and if the attacker fails to complete the objective within the time limit, the defender wins
There are 4 main professions in "Chivalry 2", and each main profession contains 3 sub-professions. The main professions are knights, infantry, vanguards and archers.
On October 26, 2021, the game launched the "Brawl Mode", which is a free-for-all mode that supports up to 40 players, allowing players to use non-traditional weapons such as fish, chairs, bottles, rolling pins, bread and turkey legs etc.
